Would you mind if I shared a little bit about my own journey with you? To be a bit vulnerable, the reason I got into this work was because a while back, it was me who was struggling with stress, feeling overwhelmed and exhausted.
I felt a constant lump in my throat and tightness in my gut during those years. Being over-stressed, I had trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. Then, one day I finally said, “Enough is enough. There’s got to be another way!” So, I drew a line in the sand and started looking for support. I knew that I could only take myself so far, and I wasn’t willing to go another day feeling so awful inside. So, even though it was really scary, I invested some time and money into getting results. And, I’m so glad I did. Now, I’ve been doing mind-body practices daily for over 15 years and what a difference these have made.
Today, my life is amazing. I wake up most days feeling grateful for a good night’s rest, ready to take on my day with a soothing meditation and guided imagery. And often I go to sleep at night and experience a peaceful rest. My life is not perfect but it is SO much better that I want reach those who may be suffering, especially with all the chaos going on in the world. Let me know in the comments below if you can relate.
So, even though I’ve come a LONG way, I know the struggle that so many moms and high achieving women face, especially in mid-life and beyond. I want to help them overcome adversity and feel loved and safe. That’s why I do the work I do… because I don’t want anyone to feel constantly over-stressed and burnt-out. I want them to feel more inner power and inner peace.
